Robert Palmer is a lifelong athlete at heart, always pushing the boundaries of ordinary and turning it into extraordinary results with unparalleled commitment to excellence on, and off, the turf or court. Having been a top ranked athlete since his childhood in Dallas, participating in the Junior Olympics, qualifying as an all-state track and field athlete, and being chosen as a unanimous selection all district for football, his athletic success continued through college when Robert relocated to New York to play football at Fordham University.
Robert began his career as a fitness professional immediately after college, after deciding not to pursue athletics professionally, following a family tragedy that forced him to refocus his energies on bettering the lives of those around him. Weeks after graduating from Fordham University with a B.S. in Business Finance, he took a leap of faith and joined Crunch gym in New York City, quickly becoming one of their top trainers. His focus is always to help people achieve their health and fitness goals. His expertise and results soon found him serving as a trainer for Nike, Tough Mudder, and conducting corporate workout sessions for AT&T, Reebok and the Avon 39 Breast Cancer Walk.
The competitive spirit is ingrained in his motivation for himself and others. He relies on the Optimum Performance Training Model and has created methods, and strategies, to help people live the healthiest life possible by incorporating some of the professional athletic training techniques, continuing education, science, health trends, and diet hacks to help individuals realize their attainable fitness goals. His success is seen and felt in his unique approach and the results --- the positive enhancements of his client’s lives and body composition. He truly believes and shows his clients that it is always worth fighting for even if the goal is tough. Through careful and personalized assessment, and a comprehensive analysis of lifestyle components, Robert understands the best way to achieve the end goal, always.
He is at the pulse of the global health and fitness trends and seeks to create an approach that combines the trusty techniques of traditional training with the cutting edge of relevant science to produce phenomenal and consistent outcomes inside and outside of the gym. The focus: train the athlete’s body to become a living machine. The prerequisite is never that you have to be an athlete, just that you have to have the will and confidence to push yourself to the point of improvement for maximum productivity in order to Be Exceptional.
